A hardy beef breed of medium size, the Aubrac has a very strong capacity to adapt to climate variations and forage availability.
Exhibiting excellent maternal qualities (fertility, calving ease, nursing ability, longevity), the Aubrac cow produces robust and well-conformed offspring, whether raised as a purebred or crossbred with a heavily muscled bull (such as Charolais).
Endowed with excellent heat resistance, it is well-suited to dry regions.
